#79 The keys to being successful

Think it, Make It, Do It.

Think of success in the way of something that is attainable and within your grasp.  Even failures (people who didn't succeed at their task) have become successful often in the same or different avenues then the ones they applied to.

Make it:  Whether it is a physical object or an idea, come up with the concept.  Write it down, do research.  Come up with a plan.  Before you make take the next step dot your i's and cross your t's.

Do It:  Get out there.  Sell yourself and what you have created.  Talk to people, learn more about your field.  Expand your horizons.  Don't limit yourself to just what you have chosen.  Also consider other avenues.  A not so great singer often has a good ear for music and makes a better producers.  A not so good looking woman may not be model material in some eyes, but has a great taste for fashion.  You have to do things in order for things to happen.

Once you have reached this stage, start again from step one, and continue until you are successful.

BTW: I am not calling William Hung a failure; only stating that his task of competing in American Idol ended up in failure, but because of that he was able to become successful.
