#204 Christopher Lee; Dead at 93

There are certain people that screenwriters love; actors who can act, and actors who can be.  When we imagine those characters, we use the actors and the performers to embody those characters.  We are so affected by their past performances, that we create a sense of immortality of their roles.

Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93.  A far more interesting life that he lived, that he embodied the best and the worst of characters.  Sherlock Holmes to Dracula, his unique timber and classical presence only added to his ability.

Mr. Lee played the wizard Saruman, but I'd like to think that he performed a far greater magic in his acting and his legendary life.  In this he will be as immortal as the performances he played.

Mr. Lee will be known for his decades of find performances and his very human face behind his lifetime of accomplishments.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years; Birgit Kroencke Lee and daughter and daughter Christina Erika Lee.
