Today I took one step closer, one tiny step closer to achieving my goals. I mailed off my screenplay to a contact that I made using the power of social networking. While it was a time consuming process getting everything together; it was all worth it.

This is a very valuable tip for those of us who send screenplays by mail.

Use Flat-Rate Priority Mail to send your screenplay. Doing so has several benefits.

1. It's a flat rate. For screenplays it's about $4.95 to ship it to anywhere in the united states.

2. It's shipped within 2-3 days.

3. There's no guesswork. Use the Flat Rate Envelope. 9x12 size, since standard paper is 8x11

4. You can get delivery confirmation; but that isn't advised unless you want to look like an amateur.

5. International is about ten to eleven dollars, but still thats not bad.
