A long time ago (1997) a game called Ghost in the Shell was released for Sony Playstation. Anime as whole was still relatively fresh. I had been familiar with the original release of GITS as an OAV, and having played the demo I purchased the game.
This is what I was greeted with.
Eiko was only a year old at the time.
This would influence Eiko in a way that most people don't realize. Eiko had to be as cool as Makoto Kusanagi.
The music from the game has been a great companion through the years, and even to this day doesn't feel dated. I bought the cd some years ago at the Chicago Comic-con (when it was still CCC).
Eiko and GITS have a long history together, and it is really just beginning.
